Outward Vision: Cruise Ship or Battleship?

In this short talk, Pastor Kevin expresses his concerns that our church has not been as outwardly focused as it could be or should be. He likens being the church to a battleship, though some would be more comfortable thinking of it like a cruise ship. Instead of spending time, money, and energy on things for ourselves, his call to action is for us to start thinking about the people in our community who don’t yet know Jesus. He says, “We need to raise the evangelistic temperature of our church,” meaning that we need to focus on reaching the lost with the message of faith, hope, and love: Jesus.
