The Cost of Sin and the Promise in Repentance
Friday Feb 01, 2019
Friday Feb 01, 2019

Joel reassures the people that repentance is possible, and that in the end, God will restore his people to a right relationship with him. The promise of God to Israel is the promise of God to all people – judgment for sin is coming, but peace for those who repent and turn to him is also guaranteed. In our times of distress we can take comfort that while sin rules for a time, God’s justice will win out in the end.
