X-Men: Dark Phoenix: People Fear What They Don't Understand

In the movie X-Men: Dark Phoenix, aliens attempt to destroy Jean Grey because she gains a power that they don't understand and she can't control. Pastor Kevin compares this to Abraham fearing the people foreign lands due to his wife's beauty (Genesis 12 & 20). We can do better by trusting in God's protection when we encounter the unknown.
